What is Salesforce Connector?
Oration’s Salesforce Connector is a feature that allows Oration to retrieve customer information from your organisation’s Salesforce account during a call, providing a better and more streamlined customer experience. Utilising customer data during the conversational AI interaction enables a truly personalised and effective dialogue.
A customer calls and Oration detects their phone number.
Oration's Salesforce Connector uses that phone number to retrieve the caller's information from the company's Salesforce database.

How does Oration’s Salesforce Connector feature work?
When a customer calls into the contact centre, Oration’s Salesforce Connector retrieves relevant information about that customer from a company’s Salesforce account. It does this by using the caller’s phone number or other information to look up their details in Salesforce based on a pre-defined query. The customer information that is retrieved could include for example their name, case history, recent orders or any other data stored in Salesforce. Oration then has this information available during the call to provide a personalised experience tailored to that specific customer.
