Amazon upgrades Convai partnership after rigorous review of game-changing intelligent contact centre solution
Speech recognition provider Convai has continued its rapid growth trajectory by receiving the ultimate tick of approval from global technology giant Amazon.
Only three months after launching its Oration intelligent contact centre solution on Amazon Web Services (AWS) Marketplace, Convai has been named an AWS Advanced Tier Technology Partner – the highest level for technology partners.
AWS Technology Partners provide software solutions that are hosted on or integrated with AWS, with Advanced Tier companies having to undergo the rigorous Technical Baseline Review process for their applications, infrastructure and operational processes.
Convai, a PROBE Group company, has been recognised for Oration, which combines an artificial intelligence (AI) language interpreter with advanced speech recognition to significantly reduce call times and improve customer experiences across Australia and New Zealand.
PROBE Group Chief Digital Officer Avik Choudhuri said Convai’s elevation to AWS Advanced Tier Technology Partner was a credit to the expert team behind Oration’s successful launch.
“Amazon has a rigorous process for accepting companies into its partner program, ” he said.
“Having been confirmed as an AWS Select Tier Technology Partner shortly after the launch of Oration, it has taken only three months for Convai to be upgraded to the Advanced Tier status.
“That would normally be a 12-month process but the team has done such a great job of building Oration’s capability and credentials that we were able to rapidly step through the process.
“It was a very rigorous review process and this success means our clients know the technology they are purchasing adheres to world’s best practice.”

Vodafone NZ also recently implemented Oration into their product set, announcing Vodafone Voice Concierge as an exclusive strategic partnership and integration with Convai to improve customer experience and efficiency of their contact centre offerings.
Mr Choudhuri said Convai’s mutually beneficial partnership with Amazon would allow the company to access a selection of program benefits designed to accelerate its market reach.
“Since launching Oration three months ago, we have already achieved two levels of partnership with AWS and assembled a portfolio of customers that are embracing our technology in the real world,” he said.
“Being confirmed as an AWS Advanced Tier Technology Partner elevates us to a very small group of companies that have achieved that status in this region for an AWS Connect product and sets our services apart from others.
